CHATHAM-KENT (May 1, 2023) — Do you know of a talented artist or group who, either living or from the past, you feel deserves greater recognition for their contribution to culture in Chatham-Kent and beyond?
If so, Dan White, chair of the Chatham-Kent Arts and Culture Network, encourages you to nominate that individual or group for inclusion in the Network’s 2nd Annual Heroes Wall of Fame program.
Introduced in 2022, the goal of the Heroes Wall of Fame is to highlight Chatham-Kent’s finest across six categories:
- Visual Arts
- Music
- Theatre Arts
- Dance
- Literary Arts
- Cultural Builders
The 2023 nomination form is easy to fill out and all nominations must be submitted by June 15, 2023 to: jamessnyderp@gmail.com. Use the detailed category descriptions in the appendix to ensure you enter correctly.
The Wall of Fame Steering Committee will review all nominations and select those most deserving. Two per category will be chosen.
