Creative Profile – Wheatley Two Creeks Association

The Wheatley Two Creeks Association are a group of volunteers who manage the Wheatley Two Creeks Conservation Area

In 1992, the volunteer group, The Friends of Two Creeks, was formed and assumed management responsibilities for the conservation area with the hope of raising awareness and preserving the 85 acre site. In 2003, The Friends of Two Creeks changed its name to Wheatley Two Creeks Association and became a non-profit organization.

Their Mandate is to address the conservation, recreation and cultural needs of the Wheatley area, with an emphasis on youth, while maintaining the unique flora and fauna of our Carolinian forest.

There are 10k of trails inside the 87 acres of mostly forest. There’s a big pavilion as well as a new smaller Wedding Gazebo that was just built.

Summer Concert Series  2023

Their Summer concert series is in its 31st year and is well received. From June to early September, enjoy music and refreshments at one of our free outdoor concerts. The Weil Stage, a natural outdoor amphitheatre, plays host to a wide variety of top-rated musicians. This regular Sunday event has become a family favourite and draws an audience from across the region. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the pavilion if the weather is inclement. Admission is free. The hat is passed for donations to help offset the cost of the performers and maintenance costs. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.

The Two Creeks Conservation area is located at 21638 1 Kent Road, one kilometre north of the village of Wheatley. Donations are gratefully received. Please make cheques payable to the Wheatley Two Creeks Association. We will issue a receipt for tax purposes.
